Welcome!

Our website has been updated with a revised look to demonstrate more clearly how Front Porch and Covia have come together as one organization, united as Front Porch Communities and Services.

While you’ll see changes to our name and our logo, you’ll find consistency in how we continue to provide the same care as a non-profit provider of aging services.

We invite you to explore the website to learn more.

Covid 19 Response and Resources

Information about Community Services programs

Covia’s Community Services programs continue to provide support and connection for seniors around the country. We have numerous volunteer opportunities if you who wish to support socially isolated seniors from your home. We gratefully accept your donations to provide ongoing support for our programs.

Enduring Inspiration Exhibition

Enduring Inspiration: Creativity at Home aims to encourage and inspire each of us to celebrate simple moments of creativity to fuel our resiliency and bring us together. Use creativity as emotional support during this challenging time and share your inspiration at home through this community-driven installation offered by Ruth’s Table.

Well Connected and Well Connected Español

Well Connected and Well Connected Español continue to offer phone- and online-based groups, programs, and activities for free to seniors throughout the United States. We are also available to work with senior communities, senior centers, and other programs to support distance programming for your constituents. To register or for more information, please contact us at 877-797-7299 or coviaconnections@covia.org.

Social Call

Social Call, our one-on-one visiting program, is still offering phone-based visits. New participants and volunteers are welcome to join. In addition, we are seeking volunteers to send cards and letters to seniors. If you are searching for a way to help people stay connected during this time of isolation, we invite you to participate! Please contact us at 877-797-7299, coviaconnections@covia.org, or visit our volunteer opportunities page.

Home Match

Although our Home Match offices are closed, the Home Match team is still available by phone and email. We are accepting new applications from both home seekers and home sharers and are facilitating new home connections, with COVID-19 safety guidelines in place. Please visit the Home Match page for more information on our home sharing program.

Market Day

Market Day locations continue to be closed. The Market Day team is working behind the scenes to provide solutions to food insecurity in the locations we serve. You can learn more about how we are providing fresh food to seniors in affordable communities in this post. If you are experiencing food insecurity, please contact the State of California’s hotline at 833-544-2374 to get information on resources available to older Californians.
