Considering the Use of Medical Cannabis for Brain Fitness

With more and more older adults turning to medical cannabis to reduce pain, insomnia, anxiety, nausea, and other chronic symptoms, now is the time to consider elders’ rights and healthcare providers’ evolving attitudes regarding safe, compliant use and management of medical cannabis treatments. We’ll discuss the latest scientific findings and research studies, differences between “marijuana” and hemp and THC and CBD, potential adverse effects, how individuals and caregivers obtain physicians’ treatment plans, and how cannabis regulations vary from one East Bay municipality to another. Linda also will provide a consumer’s guide to choosing and buying products, and answer your questions.
