Farmer giving box of vegetables to customer

The Market Day program promotes healthy nutrition by bringing weekly produce markets into neighborhood settings, including senior centers and affordable housing communities. Each site provides unique opportunities for connection, volunteering, and helps fight inflation by keeping the price of produce affordable.

You can find our produce stands throughout Northern California and in Los Angeles. Market Day proudly accepts EBT at each site, and as part of its “mission within a mission,” we donate all unsold produce to nonprofit partners serving vulnerable seniors.

Here’s a fresh idea—volunteer with Market Day! With locations throughout Northern California and Los Angeles, our markets are staffed entirely by volunteers. If you’re close by, sign up to help out. You’ll see how gratifying it can be to deliver vitamin C—carrots, cantaloupe and companionship.

Please consider making a gift to support our Market Day program. Know that your donation will be used exclusively to support Market Day unless you notify us otherwise. We appreciate your generosity.
