Well Connected

Enriching lives and supporting well-being.

Share, learn, and socialize

Get involved and engaged with classes and groups held over the phone or computer. It's easy to take part, explore ideas, share, and learn.

Well Connected is a great way to explore your interests, learn new things, and build connections at home! This award-winning, free program began in 2004 with two small groups and now connects over 1,100 seniors around the country each week.

Join classes, groups, and activities

Well Connected offers four semesters throughout the year. Each session consists of a wide range of classes, book clubs, support groups, and activities, with frequent offerings and old favorites repeated regularly. With connections ranging from open mic to meditation, virtual museum tours to exercise at home, there’s something for everyone.

Well Connected partners with Creative Aging San Francisco for innovative creative exploration and has recently launched an Advocacy Series to provide a venue for seniors’ voices to be heard.

How does it work?

Well Connected members call in via a toll-free number at a set time each week, with some groups also offering the option to connect via computer, tablet, or mobile device. Most groups last 30 minutes to an hour with around 12 participants. Newcomers are always welcome… even midway through a semester!

Ready to get involved?

If you’re ready to register, call us at 877.797.7299, email wellconnected@covia.org, or fill out this online form. If you don’t feel like talking at first, you’re welcome to just listen as long as you’ve let the group know you’re there.

You can also volunteer to lead your own Well Connected group, or Donate to support the program. All donations are tax-deductible, and all contributions are welcome.
